Space Grade Silicon Solar Cell 52x26
Designed to operate in extreme orbital environments, EXA silicon cells maintain stable performance across a -120°C to +120°C working temperature range. Their thermal resilience is complemented by strong electrical characteristics, reaching ≥ 19% efficiency under AM0 at 25°C and a high fill factor of 79%. The temperature coefficients ensure predictable behavior under varying thermal loads, making them ideal for long-duration spacecraft operations.
With their radiation resilience, stable AM0 efficiency, and space-qualified encapsulation, EXA’s silicon cells provide a reliable foundation for both small and large satellite platforms. Backed by EXA’s vertically integrated supply chain, supported by partial ownership of the manufacturing foundry, we can fulfill orders ranging from small batches to high-volume production, guaranteeing scalability, consistency, and short lead times.
